Thomas Vu (Panda Ken)
Howdy! My name is Thomas (he/him) and I’m very happy and proud to be your new Maker-In-Residence! I was born in a maker-oriented environment which has made me a happy DIY-er.
My mother did a lot of sewing to put food on the table, my father did a lot of home improvement projects, my uncle tinkered with electronics and stereo systems, and my brother opened me up to the world of video games and car maintenance.
I’ve had experience running a makerspace in college for engineering and art students, and I am glad to help the Addison Residents spur your imagination to reality. Come by and tell us MIR your problems or ideas, and we can brainstorm with you some solutions. Let’s unlock new skills and give yourself some long term gratification that will last you the rest of your life.
